Meet the co-author of Journey for Justice: The Life of Larry Itliong, Gayle Romasanta in this social justice-driven family program from the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago. The children’s book tells the story of Larry Itliong's lifelong fight for a farm workers union, and the birth of one of the most significant American social movements in history. The event also includes performances from Philippine American Cultural Foundation Performing Arts and food from local Filipino-American restaurants.
