Celebrate Women’s History Month and join the Chicago History Museum and Jane Addams Hull-House Museum‘s Education Team to explore the lesser-known history of Jane Addams and the Hull-House Settlement.
Explore the museum’s two levels through a breathtaking 360° virtual walkthrough. Discover Addams’s advocacy for women’s political engagement beyond the domestic spheres in the current exhibition Why Women Should Vote and see rare images and documents related to Illinois women’s groundbreaking fight for suffrage. Learn about Hull-House’s relationships with other social reformers, including anti-lynching crusader Ida B. Wells-Barnett, and engage with the Settlement’s legacy of women-led social change. Participants will also be able to ask their own questions during this interactive experience.
