What do you love about your city? Join us at Hull House for our Winter Family Day to make valentines for each other, for our communities, and for the city. Get to know others through conversation using the National Public Housing Museum's 36 Questions for Civic Love, and do crafts at the museum, where you can make and share friendship bracelets. Activities are recommended for visitors ages 6 and up, but all ages are welcome. Craft supplies, other materials, and snacks are provided.
Craft materials sourced from our friends at The WasteShed.
Family Day is a quarterly program that invites Chicago families to spend an activity-filled afternoon at the Hull-House Museum. Each Family Day offers craft-making, guided tours, and other participatory activities that draw on the histories of the Hull-House settlement. Activities are held in the Residents' Dining Hall and mini tours take place at 12:00pm and 2pm in the Hull-House Mansion. Free and open to the public, Family Day encourages young people and adults to learn, create, and connect with one another.
