Hull-House and Chicago History Museum present: Civic Engagement or Bust! Stories, Songs and a Meal for Collective Joy. At this community-building event, we will gather to eat, sing, and share stories of civic engagement. We’ll be led in collective song by Chicago-based musical ensemble Vision in the Rhythm featuring Tukkiman and hear stories of civic engagement and action from our community members. This event will include a meal catered CheSa’s Bar and Bistro, a creole restaurant in Avondale.  This event is presented “Coffeehouse Style”, meaning it is alcohol-free and open to all ages.
